It has been some time since voters in the US have neen so engaged. Voter turnout is up. As are donations. And there are all sorts of interesting developments – candidates reaching out over facebook, effective online fundraising, and new tools to track how the race is changing.

Political markets are perhaps one of the most interesting new tools. There are a few including CNN Politics Political Market as well as Rasmussen Markets. Of course, there are various odds makers  – some of whom are clearly waiting on Michael Bloomberg and Al Gore to enter the race. I dont have the full back story, but its seems that over a relatively short period a great online video was puplished for Sen Obama. I personally love the "yes we can" message – it resonates in a similar way to "just do it". These are recent live speeches, masterfully pulled into a powerful video.

Updated: Even Hillary’s campaign got in the action with a little "yes she can" chanting during their moments of TV coverage.
